This month the inaugural Loud and Luminous exhibition occurred.
100 emerging and influential Australian women photographers were invited to submit a single image to a printed book, that best described the strength and resilience of a woman, with the mission to recognise and celebrate the contribution of contemporary women in the photographic arts in Australia.
The exhibition was held on the 2nd of March 2018 at the Brunswick Street Gallery Fitzroy Melbourne and the book officially launched to celebrate International Woman’s Day.
I was honoured to be invited to submit my work. I chose a self – commissioned art photograph which I believe represents the etherial power and beauty that all women truly are.
